homebrew installation (Wii)

must be 2gb or less
instructions for installation using other games can be found online

Installing on the Wii using Homebrew is what we recommend as Dolphin is currently unable to save your progress (though you can keep the window open as long as you want). To install it on your Wii, you need a few things: an SD card (2GB or less), Lego Batman Wii, the download to install homebrew (bathaxx), and the downloads to play FrizWii. All of these are included in our full package. With the full package, skip to step 3.

1. Copy the “private” directory from the Bathaxx download to the root of your SD card.

2. Take your homebrew executable program and put it in the ROOT of your SD card as “boot.elf” (rename updates as ‘boot.elf’ for them to work)

3. Put your SD card in your Wii and turn it on.

4. Go into Wii Options -> Data Management -> Save Data -> Wii.

5. Go to SD card and select the “Bathaxx” savegame that corresponds to your game region.

6. Copy the savegame to the Wii.

7. Boot LEGO Batman.

8. Load the saved game you just copied to the Wii.

9. You are now in the batcave, take the elevator on the right side. Then in the trophy room, go to the upper left corner and go through the door in order to enter the “Wayne Manor”. Now you can select a character. Choose the last enabled one in the lowest row.

10. Homebrew can now be found on your Wii Menu and Lego Batman Wii is no longer needed, so it can be returned to get the next FrizWii upgrade for free.
